GONE TO NEW YORK

I noticed yesterday that something had changed while walking in the New York Streets. I was less impressed, less overwhelmed, I thought that I was used to New York.
In the same time I feel tired and I begin to think of the days, in a few days we will fly back accross the Atlantic but I can't imagine I will have to wait for long years to come back in New York where I feel well. I would like to go everywhere, many places remain unknown. Of course I know perfectly where in Paris to buy american books, The New York Times or The New Yorker but New York will go back far, not so far as before I suppose, and hope.
I began yesterday night a book I bought at Shakespeare and Company, on Broadway, downtown, GONE TO NEW YORK, by Ian Frazier.
